1. Introduction

GigPayr (“GigPayr,” “we,” “our,” or “the app”) is a mobile invoicing and timesheet application for freelancers, contractors, and gig workers.

GigPayr is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you download or use the app.

2. Data We Collect

GigPayr does not collect data on external servers.

All data is created and stored locally on your device and may include:

• Personal details (name, email, address, phone number)

• Business or contractor details (business name, tax identifiers)

• Banking details (for invoice display only)

• Retirement or pension fund details (if entered by the user)

• Client, invoice, and timesheet data

• App configuration and preferences

We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, tracking data, or location data.

3. Data Storage Location

All GigPayr data is stored locally on your device.

• On iOS, data is stored in the app sandbox and may be included in encrypted device backups managed by Apple.

• On Android, data is stored in the app’s secure storage and may be included in device backups managed by Google.

GigPayr does not operate cloud servers and does not have access to your data.

4. Platform Providers

Apple Inc. and Google LLC may collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies when you download the app from their platforms.

GigPayr does not control and is not responsible for platform-level data collection.

5. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical safeguards, including encryption at rest and platform-secure key storage.

However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security against unauthorized access, device compromise, or data loss.

6. Data Retention

Data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, restore from backup, or uninstall the app.

GigPayr does not retain copies of user data.

7. Your Rights

You may:

• View and edit data within the app

• Export data using in-app tools

• Delete data by uninstalling the app or clearing storage

Because we do not store your data, deletion requests cannot be processed by GigPayr.

8. Backups

You are solely responsible for managing backups and securing exported files.

GigPayr is not responsible for data exposure resulting from unsecured backups, cloud storage, email sharing, or third-party storage providers.

9. Children

GigPayr is not intended for individuals under the age of 16.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

International Legal Addendum

This addendum supplements the GigPayr Privacy Policy and applies where required by applicable law.

European Union (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the following applies:

Lawful Basis

GigPayr does not process personal data on external servers. All data processing occurs locally on your device under your control.

Where GDPR applies, the lawful basis for processing is:

• Performance of a contract (providing app functionality)

• Legitimate interests (secure local storage and functionality)

Data Controller

Because GigPayr does not collect or store user data on its servers, users act as independent data controllers of the information they input.

Your GDPR Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data

• Rectify inaccurate data

• Erase data

• Restrict processing

• Data portability

• Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority

All such rights can be exercised directly within the app since data is stored locally.

GigPayr does not transfer personal data outside the EU.

United Kingdom (UK GDPR)

If you are located in the United Kingdom, the UK GDPR applies in the same manner as described above for the EU.

GigPayr does not store or process user data outside your device and does not conduct international data transfers.

United States

GigPayr does not sell, rent, or share personal information.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident:

• We do not sell personal information.

• We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

• We do not collect data on external servers.

Because GigPayr does not collect or store user data, data access or deletion requests must be performed by the user within the app.

Australia

GigPayr is designed to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

• We do not collect personal information on remote servers.

• We do not disclose information to overseas recipients.

• Users control and retain all data locally.

Cross-Border Data Transfers

GigPayr does not transfer personal data internationally because no data is transmitted to GigPayr-controlled servers.

Platform providers (Apple or Google) may process data under their own privacy policies.
